One of the first meetings of the Council in 2005, at Open Society – Georgia Foundation

Civil Council on Defense and Security is a project which aims to facilitate democratic reform of the defense and security sector in Georgia. The project was launched in 2005 by four leading Georgian NGOs. Among the partners of the project are various Georgian non-Governmental, Governmental as well as international organizations. Staff of the Council includes experts responsible for different fields of the Council's activities.
