Council’s Staff
Council's staff (or Council’s executive board) includes four persons responsible for different fields of Council’s activities. Particularly:
Irakli Mchedlishvili – Project director. Executive Board member since 2005. Major sphere of interests: Defense and security policy development;
Tamar Pataraia – Executive Board member since 2005. Sphere of interests: Security sector reform;
Teona Akubardia – Executive Board member since 2008. Interests: Democratic control over the security sector;
Shorena Lortkipanidze – Executive Board member since 2009. Interests: Euro-Atlantic integration.
On the previous steps of the Council’s activities were the staff members also: Gaga Gabrichidze (military legislation), Shalva Papuashvili (Military servants' human rights), David Smith (security sector reformation), Maia Chiabrishvili (defense resources management).
On the non-regular base for the Council were working (editorial works, translation etc) also: Mamuka Shoshiashvili, Eka Tsagareli, Nino Pipinashvili, Otar Jgenti, Nino Rukhadze, Salome Salukvadze.
